BEACH DAY || FEATURING MY #OOTD

Tuesday, August 26, 2014 Permalink 0

HELLO WONDERFUL INTERNET HUMAN BEINGS! Today I have my outfit of the day from when I went to the beach this last Saturday. It was pretty much a relaxed day. Not to mention it was super hot! I have on a super casual outfit (because I am a outfit repeater haha), but got a new tank top from Kmart and wanted to feature it! :)

Then there was the Beach

After, Starbucks Coffee

It was a fun late afternoon. As I was sitting on the beach, there were pretty big waves. Sucks cause I totally forgot a towel and also didn’t have any bathing suit on because I really didn’t want to go in the water. As soon as I saw the waves though, I really wanted to ride them. Never seen waves that big before here on the south side.

Back to what I was wearing… I got my tank top from Kmart! It was on sale when I had purchased it so I have to say I had got an awesome bargain! :)

If I lived walking distance from the beach, my life would honestly be complete. As soon as I achieve my goals, there will be a place where I can hear the oceans thunder in the morning. I always wonder how it feels to wake up to a morning sunrise along with the seagulls awakening?

Little Adventures in California

Sunday, August 24, 2014 Permalink 0

Hello lovely cool friends! My grandma, sarina, and I went up northern eastern in California to a small town. It was really super freakin’ hot! We were up in the mountains basically, with only farm land. This post is featuring my Outfit of the Day, met a Llama, discovered new architect, and treats & desserts! Take a look! :)

Got my denim vest and high-waisted shorts from kmart. Leopard print tank from tilly’s. My Sunglasses are from of course Forever 21! :)

These were takin’ last sunday. Explored the whole area, was really a unique and different town. Shops here and there filled with some culture and treasures from their historic town.

I think the question I ask myself is, would I go back? To be completely honest, no I wouldn’t only because everywhere you went you couldn’t use the bathrooms in the public restaurants because they were for the customers ONLY. Which completely sucked. Also, for such a small town they had no air conditioning either. So I have come to the realization that this was only a town for tourists (with a lot of money on hand).

Although, I did have fun but the sun really did tired me out. At least, now I can say I have been to a little town called Julian, CA.

My grandma’s cousin came into town for a business conference so we spend this day with her, it was quite a pleasant time. Haven’t seen her since I was a toddler.

If you’re new here, I am in love with Seaport  here in good ole’ California. I definitely love this place. When I used to live in Arizona, every time I came down to visit, Seaport was always the first place I went straight off the plane (literally). Ever if you yourself are down here, its a MUST SEE adventure to explore while visiting downtown in San Diego.

I’ve came back to live in California (where I was born and raised half my years as a kid) because not only my family, but the architecture, culture, scenery, (of course the beaches too) the weather… it has always captivated me to come back to the oceans’ beauty.

Every day is pretty spontaneous for me. When I’m not working, the only time I want spent is either on the beach or capturing California’s art work, (even being on the internet) seeing what other fellow bloggers are up to and their interesting lives, always catches my eyes.

There is so much to see, traveling all around, discovering new places. I have many dreams, but my biggest is to INSPIRE. Traveling, capturing life moments is what I love the most.

In California, I have HUGE DREAMS. After all, it has got me this far.

Do you have BIG dreams?

Burgundy Plaid + Black Stripes

Friday, August 15, 2014 Permalink 0

What’s up friends! I actually did something different I used the junk in the back yard to give the photos a bit more of a grunge look. So if you see a toilet, you’re not mistaken.

Bought both tops from Tilly’s (the store I am in love with), cut up some old black denim to make into shorts, wore some old sunglasses from who knows where, and black booties (from a year ago) from Forever21.

Burgundy is such a beautiful color especially for the fall and anything with stripes are super fun to challenge with something in your closet(you know, that one shirt you’ve only worn for a night). Take a look. :)

There is actually more photos, but they’ll be on my Photography page if you want to see the other pictures.

I honestly thought of this outfit last minute because I was trying to get the sunset too. Which I barely just caught the last 30 mins of it as you can see in the photos. My hair was supposed to be curled with a grey beanie as well, but it was seriously too hot to wear one. So obviously I didn’t, although I would have want to.

Combining a mix of colors or shapes, definitely looks amazing. Gives a mixture of grunge plus a 90’s vibe to the outfit. It was a simple casual outfit, but is a “ready to go!” sort of outfit. Especially when you have nothing to wear in the evening or if its just an out in about kind of day.

As I’ve mentioned, both the plaid shirt and stripe crop top are from Tilly’s. Shorts I had just cut to make them into shorts. Shoes I have had for the longest time, but are from Forever 21 which I got a year ago. Finally my sunglasses I got are from a department store, but can’t remember.

Okay so, I have my blog on Bloglovin’ which I just signed up for. If you don’t know what this amazing site is then let me share what you’re missing out on!
